Fine silica gel powder (0.2 - 0.8 mm). Application for drying products including electronics and flowers. Supplied in a lockable plastic bucket.

Details

Fine silica gel powder with grain size 0.2 - 0.8 mm. Environmentally and safety friendly silica gel as no cobalt is used. No discolouration. Moisture can be removed from the granules by drying them. Moisture absorption is approx. 37%. Requirement: approx .150 grams per m3 at room temperature.

Application

For moisture absorption (electronics etc. ; to keep medicines dry ; to keep machines and military equipment dry);
in the production of high-octane gasoline;
as a catalyst in the production of synthetic rubber;
as part of an alcohol test (in breathalysers);
in filters of a cooling circuit to extract any moisture present.
to protect cameras from moisture and mould (They are used to keep photographic) equipment dry in humid conditions).
as a relative humidity buffer (RH buffer) e.g. in museum showcases and pianos
to dry flowers (under a bell jar or airtight box with a saucer of silica gel added)
