Petro tape grease tape anti-corrosion protection tape - 100 mm x 10 meters

The Petro tape is a cold-process grease bandage with reinforcement fabric for the protection of metal against corrosion.

This band distinguishes itself by its high adhesive strength and elasticity. The integrated PE film has a high diffusion density and prevents the plastic material from rinsing out at changing groundwater levels.

Maximum operating temperature up to 30 ºC. Very suitable for enclosing valves and flange connections. The grease belt is applied cold and does not require curing.

Application

Prepare the surface to be coated and thoroughly remove dirt, rust, grease, etc. Dry the surface to be coated. Fill cavities and surfaces if necessary. Spiral the fat band with an overlap of 50%. Press air bubbles away as much as possible during winding and ensure a smooth transition at the edges of the overlap. An extra layer can be wrapped for extra mechanical and impact protection. After wrapping, smoothen the grease band by hand.
